Overview
Coach Amy Rene' ("we," "us," or "Amy") provides holistic health coaching, digital content, and related services through coachamyrene.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Site, sign up for the free resource library, buy content, book a discovery call, or enroll in a coaching program, and how that information is used.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name and email address, when you sign up for the free resource library or subscribe to updates. Signing up sends you the password to the library, which includes the Time Saver Guide
- Name, email address, and any message you include, when you use the contact form
- Billing details, when you buy digital content, book a discovery call, or enroll in a program. These are collected and processed by our payment provider, not stored by us, and we never see or store full card numbers. Everything sold here is an instant download or a scheduled session, so nothing is shipped and no mailing address is needed
- The name and comments you submit if you leave a product review, which are published on the Site with the product
- Anything you choose to share during a discovery call, in an intake form, or during a coaching relationship
Information collected automatically:
- Standard website analytics through Squarespace, including pages visited, general location, device and browser type, and referring site
- Cookies used to operate the Site, keep items in your cart, and measure traffic
How we use your information
- To send you the resource library password, deliver the content you bought, or hold the sessions you booked
- To contact you about your purchase, your booking, or your program
- To send occasional emails about new content, the current monthly theme, or coaching openings. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email
- To answer questions sent through the contact form
- To understand which pages and content are useful to visitors
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.
What clients share with us
Information you share in a discovery call or coaching session is treated as confidential and is covered in more detail in your Coaching Agreement. Two limits are worth naming plainly here: health coaching is not a licensed profession, so these conversations are not legally privileged the way they would be with a doctor or therapist; and information may have to be shared if the law requires it or if there is a reasonable belief that someone is at risk of serious harm.
Your name, photo, or story is never used in marketing or content without asking you first.
Third-party services
Each of these has its own privacy practices, and each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Squarespace, for website hosting, the online store, checkout and payment processing (including the payment methods shown at checkout), form submissions, your contact list, and website analytics
- Mailchimp, for email marketing and the newsletter list
Where your information is held
The Site and these services are operated in the United States, and information submitted through the Site is stored and processed there.
How long we keep it, and your choices
Information is kept for as long as it is needed to provide the services above, or until you ask us to delete it. You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from emails, at any time by emailing coach@amyrene.com. Some records, such as sales receipts, may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes.
Children's privacy
This Site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be shown by an updated "Last updated" date above.
